Tiancheng International presented “A Trail of Memories ── Hong Kong Landscape Art by Kong Kai Ming”, from 29 September to 5 October, showcasing 30 artworks of Hong Kong landscape by the celebrated artist. Born in 1932 in Hong Kong, Kong Kai Ming is a renowned artist and art instructor. He is conversant with a wide range of media, including fountain pen, pencil, watercolour, oil painting and printmaking, and is particularly famous for landscape sketching. Over the years, Kong has captured numerous Hong Kong scenery through his meticulous depictions. His works are not only art, but also a lively record of life in Hong Kong. His artworks have been published in more than 60 books, exhibited in various countries, and issued as a series of special stamps by Hongkong Post in 2016. Kong’s drawings have gained acclaims from Sir David Wilson, former Governor of Hong Kong and Margaret Thatcher, former British Prime Minister and are in the collection of Government House in Hong Kong and the library of 10 Downing Street.
