WANG CHIN-LIN
Wang Chin-lin is the recipient of many jewellery design awards held in the Greater China region. Highly favoured by collectors, her works has been showcased with other jewellery designers in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Taipei.
This autumn, Tiancheng International is presenting two pieces created in 2021 by Wang Chin-lin’s studio. Rendering from the side perspective view, the ‘Floral’ brooch/ ornament (Lot 122) portrays the graceful posture of the spring cherry blossoms waiting to be bloomed. Wang skillfully highlights the visual appearance of petals through the natural shades of coral. The piece is further accentuated by the green jadeite to bring out the charm. The brooch can be transformed into an ornament while being put in the vase specially created for it, enriching the work with a sense of dynamics.
Also on offer is Wang’s debuted collection of ‘Panda’ treasure boxes (Lot 121). Portraying two adorable pandas with different expressions, one holding a rock crystal ‘Cloud Top’ and the other ‘Rafting’ with a twig adorned with jadeite and diamonds, they are one-of-a-kind and thoughtfully designed as treasure boxes ideal for jewellery.
