Gübelin report numbered 19077004, dated 16 August 2019, stating that the 2.23 carat sapphire is natural, of Azad Kashmiri origin, displaying colour-changing from Blue (daylight) to Purple colour (incandescent light), with no indications of heating; along with an information sheet, stating that 'The area of Kashmir most famous for blue sapphires of outstanding quality and beauty is located near Sumjam village in the Kashmir Valley, in the Indian part of Kashmir......While Kashmir earned its reputation only for this specific locations, the geographic area of Kashmir is home to different sites where gem-quality corundum is found.'
