Comprising: a brooch and two pairs of pendent earrings, the brooch centring on a jadeite of good translucency and intense emerald green colour, carved as a monkey, accented by carved jadeite cabochons of similar colour, embellished with baguette, marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, pendant fitting; the first pair of earrings each set with a jadeite tulip of translucent intense emerald green colour, framed by brilliant-cut diamonds to the surmount; the second pair each suspending pear-shaped jadeite cabochons of orangy red colour and emerald green colour respectively, highlighted by brilliant-cut diamonds; the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 3.40 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold. (3) Monkey on brooch measuring approximately 12.48 x 27.51 x 1.88mm; carved cabochons approximately 9.41 x 3.72 x 1.79 to 5.01 x 3.94 x 1.74mm; tulips approximately 13.46 x 10.80 x 10.27 and 13.17 x 10.61 x 1.15mm; pear-shaped cabochons on earrings approximately 14.30 x 6.80 x 2.20 to 5.53 x 3.66 x 0.97mm respectively. This lot contains jadeite or rubies originating in Burma (also known as Myanmar) and also articles of jewellery containing such gemstones may not be imported into the U.S. With respect to items containing any other types of gemstones originating in Burma (e.g. sapphires), such items may be imported into the U.S. provided that the gemstones were mounted or incorporated into articles of jewellery outside of Burma as long as the setting is not of a temporary nature. Loose gemstones of any type originating in Burma may not be imported into the U.S. In this regard, purchaser’s inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify a cancellation of the sale or any delay in payment.
