Suspending an icy jadeite of good translucency, carved as a leaf, surmounted by a carved jadeite flower of translucent orange colour, flanked by two carved jadeites of emerald green colour, embellished with marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white gold.
Leaf and flower measuring approximately 48.80 x 33.05 x 6.78 and 13.43 x 13.88 x 2.41mm; jadeites approximately 10.02 x 4.90 x 1.86 and 9.94 x 5.08 x 1.57mm respectively.
This lot contains jadeite or rubies originating in Burma (also known as Myanmar) and also articles of jewellery containing such gemstones may not be imported into the U.S. With respect to items containing any other types of gemstones originating in Burma (e.g. sapphires), such items may be imported into the U.S. provided that the gemstones were mounted or incorporated into articles of jewellery outside of Burma as long as the setting is not of a temporary nature.
