Composed of 542 good translucent graduated icy jadeite beads of pale apple green colour, highlighted by two stylised clasps set with translucent oval jadeite cabochons of apple green colour, decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white gold, length approximately 686mm.
Beads measuring approximately 8.62 to 4.88mm; cabochons approximately 9.66 x 6.91 x 2.48 to 3.26 x 2.88 x 1.97mm.
This lot contains jadeite or rubies originating in Burma (also known as Myanmar) and also articles of jewellery containing such gemstones may not be imported into the U.S. With respect to items containing any other types of gemstones originating in Burma (e.g. sapphires), such items may be imported into the U.S. provided that the gemstones were mounted or incorporated into articles of jewellery outside of Burma as long as the setting is not of a temporary nature.
