Composed of one hundred and eight nephrite jade beads of semi-translucent creamy white colour, spaced by decorative beads, suspending a cubic zirconia-set cab fringing numerous tassels of freshwater cultured pearls and decorative beads, linked by a nephrite jade hoop of similar colour, mounted in silver, length approximately 816mm. Beads and hoop measuring approximately 8.05 to 7.44 and 16.72 x 5.10 x 6.23mm respectively.

Buddhist prayer beads, also known as thought beads or counting beads, are a devotional tool that is used when reciting the holy names of Buddha and Bodhisattvas or counting mantras to restrain one’s heart for religious cultivation.
