Comprising a jadeite bracelet and a jadeite ring both of translucent bright green colour, the bracelet composed of seven oval-shaped jadeite cabochons, each framed by circular-cut diamonds, linked by 18 karat white gold circles; the ring of crossover design, set with two jadeite gourds, decorated by pavé-set diamonds extending to the shank. Jadeite cabochons on bracelet measuring approximately from 9.57 x 6.99 x 3.98mm to 8.52 x 6.92 x 3.29mm. Jadeite gourds on ring measuring approximately 10.82 x 7.96mm and 10.67 x 7.94mm respectively. This lot contains jadeite or rubies originating in Burma (also known as Myanmar) and also articles of jewellery containing such gemstones may not be imported into the U.S. With respect to items containing any other types of gemstones originating in Burma (e.g. sapphires), such items may be imported into the U.S. provided that the gemstones were mounted or incorporated into articles of jewellery outside of Burma as long as the setting is not of a temporary nature.
