Comprising two translucent jadeite pendants, one in light apple green colour carved as a ‘laughing Buddha', framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, to a diamond-set floret surmount, and one in intense russet colour carved as a ruyi, framed by circular-cut diamonds, to a pavé-set diamond surmount. Jadeite Buddha and jadeite ruyi measuring approximately 22.71 x 24.78 x 6.24mm and 19.48 x 23.57mm respectively. Mounted in 18 karat white gold and rose gold. Each accompanied by an adjustable dark brown cord.
This lot contains jadeite or rubies originating in Burma (also known as Myanmar) and also articles of jewellery containing such gemstones may not be imported into the U.S. With respect to items containing any other types of gemstones originating in Burma (e.g. sapphires), such items may be imported into the U.S. provided that the gemstones were mounted or incorporated into articles of jewellery outside of Burma as long as the setting is not of a temporary nature.
