Gu Xiaokun is a famous Chinese Philanthropist, collector, founder of Hong Kong Global Group. In 1980s Mr. Gu return to Shanghai and became friends with many Shanghainese artists. During the construction of the Shanghai Museum, Gu Xiaokun, Dong Mujie, Ye zongwu and Lu Tsunglin jointly donated the fund for the Chinese painting exhibiton hall.
