The necklace composed of three parts, a black jadeite bead, orange sapphire and diamond necklace, a black jadeite cabochon, multi-coloured sapphire and diamond pendant/brooch and a 'flaming dragon' motif centre piece. The necklace composed of twenty-one black jadeite beads, interspersed by diamond rondelles and orange sapphire rondelles, completed by an orange sapphire set rose gold spherical clasp.
The pendant/brooch centring an oval black jadeite cabochon, encircled by gradual ruby, yellow and orange coloured sapphire set 'flaming fire', the gallery decorated with pavé-set diamonds and a carved 'flaming dragon' in rose gold; the centre piece modelled as a 'flaming dragon' with body, barbel and horns encrusted by brilliant-cut diamonds, to ruby set dorsal fin and claws, claws each catching a black cultured pearl, head, tail and 'flaming fire' motifs decorated by ruby, orange and yellow round sapphires, the bifurcated junctions have a mechanism attaching to the black jadeite bead necklace, the dragon's gold-set tongue served as a hook suspending the black jadeite cabochon pendant/brooch. The necklace and the pendant/brooch can be worn separately. Black jadeite pendant measuring approximately 26.80 x 24.30 x 14.26mm. Twenty-one pieces of black jadeite beads measuring approximately 15.16 x 15.15mm to 14.05 x 14.04mm.
