Shao's series of furniture employs the aesthetics of Ming Dynasty, using simple and direct method to present design. In this work, he styles wood to present a body form, injecting his own very humor and creativity. His sculpture embodies traditional substance with daring interpretation, blends simple aesthetics with philosophy, infusing the artist’s works with an elegant aura.
