Under the influence of classical Chinese paintings, Li Jie focuses her studies on brush strokes. Her works depict every day subjects in simple but delicate manner. She has 'floral', 'vegetables' and 'pure line' series. The expressiveness and fluidity of her brush strokes demonstrates her fine techniques. Li shares her pleasure of daily life in a tender and feminine language through her works.
