Li Yihong's perennial detailed drawing of Taiwan Shanchun show his patriotic sentiments of his homeland. This present work shows a distinct group of rocks in Shaka Dang River, the original abode of indigenous Seediq clan, now part of Tailuge National Park. Tattoo symbolizes courage and virtuosity of the Seediq clan,
limestones in the river represent the people and their indomitability. The composition of gold, black and white demonstrates a powerful tension and modernity. The artist uses thirty - two sheets of Japanese Morita paper as the base and the copper gold colour to present his respect for the Seediq clan.
